About Us and Testimonials

Our Generation Travel is a division of The Gran Emeral Travel Group based on the Gold Coast, in Queensland, Australia. Managing Director Anne Bain, along with her staff have many years combined experience in the travel industry.
As a member of the ‘baby boomer’ generation Anne conceived Our Generation Travel after identifying a gap in the travel industry, with no one offering individual or small group travel for the experience seekers of her generation or for any generation for that matter. These are the experiences that are more than just sitting on a beautiful beach, people want to reconnect with themselves, their families and the world at large, they want adventure, learning and rejuvenation, time away from their everyday routines and a chance to reflect inward and take stock of their lives.
Our Generation Travel offers these special travel experiences, things that become part of our life’s journey – remarkable, inspiring, culturally enriching journeys for whatever generation of traveller you may be.

Our Generation Travel also has a charter to 'make a difference' where possible and is always looking to support programs that can help at the grass roots level.

‘Thankyou, you were so right this was the best way to experience Vietnam, we went to places that a large tour group could never go. One of the many highlights was our day at Halong Bay, when we arrived there were 4 full tour buses with everyone waiting their turn to hop on to a boat, our driver took us down to our boat( there was just us)which was set a little away from the rest, the captain came straight out to meet us, we walked right on board where we were then greeted by 8 staff. I remember looking back towards the shore as we sailed away and noticed that the people from the tour buses were still trying to get onboard their boats. Here we were just us sailing around the beautiful Halong Bay, being waited on hand and foot, this was heaven!
